In Partnership (and right relationship)

Regen Retreats is a collaborative partnership between Keystone, and local partners. Keystone partners contribute actively to the overall mission and co-design retreats with us in our host destinations.

All our retreats are designed and delivered in close collaboration with local partners.

The Andros Retreat operates with local partners organised by our Greek Keystone Partner, Proteus Social Innovation and Development (based in Andros). We are proud that our local partners provide our accommodation, food, tours and all services and enjoy co-creating this experience with us for the ultimate cultural, responsive, sustainable and regenerative leadership retreat!

Proteus Social Innovation and Development is a Greek Non-Profit Company founded on Andros Island, Cyclades, Greece in 2009 by Dimitrios Kokkinis. After many years of serving the international maritime industry as Captain on board ships on the worlds oceans and as a corporate executive in many countries and various capacities on land, Dimitrios developed a spherical understanding of the whole value chain from the conception of an idea to its manifestation in the field, and the complexities of doing business.

Proteus was initially created for strengthening and developing young people’s skills, character, social behaviour and resilience on board Saitraining Tall Ships. The lessons from which led to the expansion of the scope to regional, and particularly, insular socio-economic development, due to the resemblance of ships to small island communities. With the island of Andros being the place of origin and given his great insight of the local complexities and intricacies, a replicable strategic model was created named “Islands of Social Innovation” making Andros the testing ground for the implementation of this strategy.

Powered by the regenerative economic development principles and the three pillars of the Greek Economy (Maritime, Tourism and Agriculture) Proteus is working for a systemic economic and educational change that could also lead to reversing the urbanisation of the population and eventually the brain-drain of Greece.

Cap Institute logo_edited_edited.jpg

The Capital Institute has pioneered a new space for holistic economic thought that draws on the latest science of living systems, global wisdom traditions, and 20 years of real world experience at the pillar of global finance on Wall Street.
Founded by John Fullerton, it seeks to encourage a transformation of our economic system to achieve social and ecological regeneration.

'We believe our finance-driven economic system is in urgent need of a regenerative model that must be aligned with the laws — not theories — of natural systems and our current scientific understanding of how the world works, which is remarkably aligned with the compassion embodied in all global wisdom traditions.

‘We redefine wealth and reimagine finance in service to the emergence of an ecologically and socially regenerative economy. By addressing the root causes of climate change, economic injustice, and even pandemics, we promote the emergence of thriving communities and a flourishing planet.

The Regenerative Economy we foresee is a powerful one, unleashing presently unseen potential, which is the source of Regenerative Age prosperity, and replacing no longer feasible extractive growth.

Intaconnected Logo 1 - BIG Positive (6)_

Intaconnected is a strategic advisory and solutions platform, hosting an interdisciplinary ecosystem, that was established in 2020 to help accelerate our collective transition towards Net Positive impact for climate, Nature and people. Its founders set out to understand and solve the persistent barriers preventing our economic system from halting its negative impacts in the world, despite the urgency to do so if we are to maintain and restore a safe operating space for humanity.

Intaconnected's modular Pathway to Net Positive enables organisations of any sector or size, to understand the steps they need to take, in order to understand and mitigate the full spectrum of negative impacts on climate, Nature and society in order to maintain resilience and relevance in a rapidly changing world.

We realised that people themselves must be at the core of any strategy and indeed its implementation, if we are ever to succeed in meeting our UN targets for climate, Nature and humanity by 2030 and beyond. 'Activation' is the critical step to unlocking the barriers to transformative progress. Our virtual and in person activations seek to build the knowledge, mindset and culture needed to empower everyone to participate in the creation of a safer future.

Immersive, experiential learning is powerful and Regen Retreats serves as the regenerative arm of Intaconnected, deploying a living systems approach to thinking, being and doing things differently.
